Antique or vintage English pewter pitcher, possibly a hot-water pot? Hinged lid with acorn detail. Wicker-covered handle. Holds one-and-a-half pints.
7" tall approx. Weight 550g. The base is marked: ENGLISH HAND HAMMERED PEWTER.

Condition:
Vintage pewter jug/pot with some dents and scratches. Marks inside, including rust, presumably from something metal being stored inside. The wicker that covers the handle is damaged. The pot doesn't leak, but I doubt it could be made fit for food use!
