Antique painting on milk glass, depicting Dick Swiveller from The Old Curiosity Shop by Charles Dickens. Signed G.A. Sydenham. Frame is 11.5" x 9.5" approx. Weight 1000g.
Condition Around a century old, and the picture is in good condition, but the frame has suffered over the years, as you can see, with some knocks, and is in URGENT need of repair. The original wooden board at the back is missing. You might like to replace the frame, but if not, the wooden board at the back will need to be replaced, as its loss has left the glass loose. One corner of the frame has been badly repaired in the past, as shown. Please see photographs.
