This tie has no washing instructions, and as it is roughly 60 years old I would exercise caution while washing it, and would not use a washing machine.
This tie is slightly shorter than modern ties in keeping with the fashion of the day.
This is an old garment, and shows normal signs of wear as expected. The tie has some marks and shows sign of wear. The bases of both the narrow and wide blades of the tie are worn and the tie has obviously seen a lot of use.
It also has a faint iron stripe in the middle of the tie, although this is not overtly visible.
