Vintage detachable stiff shirt collar, by Faulat of Belfast, starched and in fairly good condition, though not perfect.
This is a lightly starched semi-stiff shirt collar, for day wear.
Judging by the style and quality, it was probably made in the early post-war period (late 1940s/early 1950s).
This is a detachable (separate) collar.
You will need a pair of collar studs. These are NOT included with the item, but are available separately.
Collar size 15" (to fit shirt size 14.5").
Vintage collar, clean but no longer in prime condition.
It has been laundered and starched since it was last worn, but that was many decades ago.
There is noticeable wear and light storage marks, and the stud holes have been "forced", to make the collar slightly looser.
It might do for a theatrical/re-enactment costume, but is definitely no longer smart enough for ordinary use.
The collar has clearly belonged to several people over the years, and there are various laundry marks inside.
