Lena Lastik were active in the 1920s, and specialised in ladies' "hygienic underwear".
As you can see, this item has never been worn.
It is unsold shop stock from around the 1920s, and has been in storage at the shop ever since.
The original hand-written price labels are still attached to the garments.
Some say 8/11 (eight shillings and elevenpence), and the others have the "sale price", which was 6/- (six shillings).
Size (original size is marked as WX).
Actual waist measurement..... 22 inches (56 cm) unstretched................. 34 inches (86 cm) fully stretched.
Length (waist to cuff of leg).. 21 inches (53 cm)
These garments are unworn, but moth damaged and shop soiled.
They are unsold shop stock, almost a century old.
They are made of wool and cotton, and unfortunately have suffered moth damage, as well as storage-related discolouration (probably from dust).
They might be useful for a display or for nostalgic purposes, but they are NOT FIT TO WEAR.
