Old Edwardian children's book, edited by Edric Vredenburg and published by Raphael Tuck in their "Father Tuck's Golden Gift" series. Undated, but there is a prize inscription on the flyleaf - the book was presented as a school attendance prize in 1909. Thick hardback children's book, with lots of illustrations. 71 pages approx.
Condition This is an old children's book, over a century old, which is still in fairly good, readable condition, but no longer pristine. The pages are in fairly good condition, with some grubby fingermarks, and a few creases. The covers have some scuffs marks, and the usual sort of scuffing and minor damage at the edges, and the red binding of the spine is torn and creased. Scribbles on the back cover. Inscription to previous owner at the front, dated 1909. The flyleaf is incomplete, and there are some water stains on the front cover and first few pages.
