Vintage tooled leather wallet from Arcachon in France.
Embossed with a picture of women oyster fishers with their nets, poles etc.
Fastens with a stud (the old-fashioned type popular before the war).
4.25" x 3" (11 cm x 7.5 cm) approx. when closed.
The inside contains several clear compartments, presumably designed to hold ID cards, photographs, business cards or season tickets.
They are larger than a modern credit card, and I would GUESS the wallet was probably made around the 1950s/1960s.
