Condition: Interesting books, over a century old, and in good condition but not perfect. Pages are generally clean and tidy, with a few printing faults, smudges, creased corners and small marks. One book has only 2 of its 3 photogravure plates - but this is probably a manufacturing fault, as the plate of Lord Kitchener is 60-odd pages out of its proper place. Original owner's name in the front. Hard covers are scuffed at the edges, with some marks and rubbing, but still sturdy and in good condition for their age.
