King George III ceramic tile 1976 American Declaration of Independence 1776 6"
A vintage ceramic tile from 1976, with a picture of King George the Third. Made to commemorate the Bicentenary of the American Declaration of Independence in 1776. This tile was made in Florian Studios, Puddletown, Dorset, England. It was part of a limited edition of 1000 sets - number 466 of 1000. The original picture was drawn by E L Grassby.
The tile is mounted in a black frame with open front (ie not glass-fronted).
Weight 280g including frame.
The tile itself is 6 inches (15 cm) square.
The frame is 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) square.
Please note that the frame is NOT fitted with a hook, so if you want to hang it on the wall, you will have to fit a hook.
