Lady's vintage tweed skirt, made in England by Dominant, probably in the early 1970s. Classic tweed skirt, in brown colour mix (brown/grey/white). 55% wool, 45% mixed fibres.
Fully lined in nylon. Zip at the side.
Size: marked as the old British Standard Size 16 - this appears to be roughly equivalent to a modern UK size 12.
Waist 28" (71 cm)...Hips 40" (102 cm)... Length, waist to hem, 26" (67 cm).

Condition:
Vintage skirt, around 40 years old, but never worn and still in perfect condition. It was unsold stock from a drapers' shop, and still has its original labels, including the hand-written shop label from the 1970s.
