Length of starched front panels (measured straight down the front from the collar): 12.5 inches (this is fairly short, please check the panel length is right for you).
Condition: Good quality vintage shirt, over a century old, and in need of repair. With repairs, it might be suitable for use as part of a genuine vintage outfit, but it will never look "new and shiny". This is a good-looking, stylish Edwardian shirt, and it has clearly been used many times. The laundry marks of several previous owners are inside the shirt, as shown. The repairs required include mending a four-inch rip near the front hem and darning some fraying around the edges of the starched panels. There are a few small "rust spots" at the top of the sleeves, probably from the shirt having been stored "in its pins". The cuffs are frayed, and there is a small crack in the right cuff. The shirt has been professionally laundered and starched since it was last used.
