Nurses cuffs with studs size 8 Wearwells starched uniform antique vintage pair G


Pair of vintage detachable "Wearwells" starched shirt cuffs. Hard to be sure when they were made, but probably the first half of the 20th century. These are quite long cuffs, and were presumably designed as part of a nurse's uniform or similar. With plain metal studs for fastening.

Size 8"
Measurement around the wrists (from the centre of each buttonhole) 8".
Overall size of cuff, measured flat, is 9.5" x 4.75".

Condition: Vintage cuffs, the best part of a century old, but still in good condition. They have been laundered and starched since they were last worn, but that was many decades ago, and there are some scuffs from age and storage, as shown. Previous owners' name/laundry marks on the inside of the cuffs.
