Old England green Tafatex shirt size 16 vintage 1950s Formatic collar UNUSED
Men's vintage shirt, Old England brand, by Peter England. Made in Great Britain, probably in the late 1950s, but never used and still in its packet. Green (this is a greyish-green, not a bright green).
Long sleeves. Button cuffs.
Collar size 16 inches - this is a "Formatic" collar, attached to the shirt - a very modern idea in the 1950s, when collars were usually bought separately from the shirts and attached with collar studs!
Made of Tafatex - "the easy-care, easy-wear fabric". Wash as wool (laundry instructions are printed on the back of the card label).
Condition: Vintage shirt, over half a century old, unused and in beautiful condition. Comes in its original packet. The packet is crumpled and torn, but the shirt itself is immaculate. The original price is printed on the card label - it cost 29/11 (twenty-nine shillings and elevenpence).
