On The Nail Corn St Bristol Omicways steel picture vintage 1970s Peter Griffin
Steel reproduction of a picture of the Nails at the Corn Exchange in Bristol, where bargains were struck by corn traders - hence the expression paying "On the Nail". From a 1971 picture by Peter Griffiths. Made by Omicways of Bude, Cornwall.
Hessian backing and the wooden frame looks classic 1970s in style. Total size 14.5" x 9.25" approx. Weight 730g.
Vintage picture in good condition. Surface marks from normal use. (Cleaning instructions on the reverse of the picture.)
