Coloured and patterned shirt collars
Van Heusen collar UNUSED vintage 1920s GREEN olive drab 14 1/2; semi-stiff 99
A British Van Heusen patent semi-stiff collar, still in its original sleeve.
Made in England by Harding Tilton & Hartley, probably in the 1920s.
The packet refers to it as a "coloured" collar.
The colour doesn't seem to have a name, but it is a sort of military green - a rather light olive drab.
Style number 99/1K
You will need a pair of collar studs to attach the collar to your shirt.
These studs are available separately.
Unused, and still in the original packet.
The packet has suffered badly over the years.
It is creased, torn and ripped, but it has done its job, and the collar is in lovely condition.
Washing and starching instructions are given on the packet.
