Vintage Akco boned buckle bow tie from Samman Palmerston Road Southsea black HC

Condition: Vintage bow tie, the best part of a century old and showing its age. The silk neckband has been damaged by the buckle teeth, and the retaining guide band has lost its elasticity and needs to be removed or replaced. This bow tie is delicate because of its age, and wouldn't be smart enough to wear with a brand new evening suit, but would look good with a genuine vintage outfit or even, if handled with care, might do for everyday wear.
