Vintage baby bonnet, with embroidered flowers. I believe the lead excise seal indicates that it was given a licence for import to the UK at a time when there were legal restrictions on importing clothing - presumably before the days of the Common Market!
 

Condition: Vintage children's hat, never used and with the lead excise seal still attached. It is over half a century old, and is in remarkably good condition. There is one small hole, as shown. In view of its age, it is clearly not suitable for ordinary use, but might make a nice display item or for theatre/film costume (remember to remove the lead seal first!).
