Vintage baby girl dress UNUSED Ladybird Age 1 year 1960s broderie anglaise BNWT
Vintage Ladybird child's white dress, broderie anglaise, 100% cotton. Made in England in the early 1960s, but never used, and with the original tags still attached - the original price was 16/11 (sixteen shillings and elevenpence!). There is a sewn-in label inside the dress that says MINI IRON 61. (61 might be the date it was made, but I'm not sure about this.)
Size: Age 1 year...length (shoulder to hem) 15"......chest measurement 26". please remember that children nowadays are a bit bigger than they were in the 1970s, so check your child's measurements before buying! It has a one-and-a-half inch hem, so it could be let down to allow for growth.
Condition: Vintage garment, well over half a century old, but never used, and still in perfect condition. Unsold shop stock, made in the early 1960s (before the days of laundry symbols and sewn-in garment composition labels being compulsory!). Original Ladybird tag and handwritten shop tag still attached.
