Vintage formal tunic shirt size 14.5 pleated bib R Simpson & Sons Glasgow 1930s

Traditional men's tunic shirt, by R. Simpson & Sons Ltd, Jamaica St, Glasgow. This is a classic evening shirt with pin tuck/pleated bib panels, made in the 1930s. Made of a lightweight cotton, possibly intended for tropical wear.
White. Pin tuck front panels. Button front. Single cuffs for cufflinks. You will need a separate collar (size 15), and collar studs to wear with this shirt (available separately).

Size: Collar size: 14.5 inches (not marked in shirt, taken from garment measurements).
Actual garment measurements:
Chest measurement: 44 inches (maximum)
Shoulder to shoulder: 18 inches
Length, neck to hem at the back: 36 inches
Length of sleeve, shoulder to end of cuff: 24 inches
Length of sleeve, armpit to cuff: 21.5 inches
Length of front bib panels (measured straight down the front from the collar): 13 inches.
Condition: Beautiful vintage shirt, nearly a century old and in good condition for its age, but not perfect. It has clearly been looked after over the course of its long life, but would benefit from a few stitches - at one side edge of the bib, where it has frayed slightly, as shown, and also inside, where the facing of the bib joins the neckband - these are really minor repairs. There is a small hole in the side of the neckband, which will obviously be covered by your collar. The shirt has been freshly laundered, but not starched. The bib and cuffs should ideally be starched before wear.
