Vintage German porcelain red squirrel ornament 4490 Art Deco 7" animal figurine

Vintage or antique porcelain red squirrel figurine from Germany. It is marked: GERMANY 4490/II. The squirrel is coloured all the way round, but the brand and leaves are only coloured on one side - the other side was presumably intended to be "facing the wall".

Size: 7 inches (19 cm) tall approx.
Weight: 190g

Condition
Vintage ornament, around a century old, but still in fairly good condition.
Tiny chips at the tips of the ears and leaves.
Two dark splodges on the back, on the squirrel's tail and hind leg. I do not know whether these were from the original decoration, or if someone has actually splashed paint on it at some later time.
There is a small imperfection in the bottom rim, as shown - this is a chip in the edge, UNDER the paint, so presumably it is a manufacturing fault.
