Vintage "Three Rs" girls' school blazer by Arthur Howard. Black. Appears to be wool or a wool mixture. Made around the 1950s/1960s, but never used, and with the original shop tags still attached (with 1970s prices).
Sleeves are lined, but the main body of the blazer is unlined. 3 outside pockets. 1 inside zip pocket (but zip is stuck). Made in England.
Size: These blazers were sold by "school uniform size", NOT by age. School uniform size 10, to fit chest 32 inches.
Please check your child's measurements before buying! These are the actual garment measurements:
Chest: 34 inches (measured on the outside) .
Length, base of collar to hem at the back: 24 inches.
Weight 600g approx.
Condition: Vintage blazer made in the 1950s or 1960s but never used, and with the shop tags still attached (complete with 1970s price). The zip on the inside pocket is stuck, and there are some tiny threadbare patches and tiny moth holes, as shown, as a result of half a century's storage, but no major damage stains.
