Vintage Bible with a "Scripture Atlas", of 12 maps plus index, in the back. Published by Oxford University Press. Gilded edges to the pages, and silk sewn red leather binding. Undated, but the OUP printer was Henry Frowde, who retired around 1912. Weight 1260g approx.

Vintage Bible, over a century old, which has clearly been used, but is still readable.
The pages are clean and tidy. The front free endpaper is missing, as shown. There are several pages provided for making notes - the first of these pages has been filled in as shown. The covers are in fairly good condition, but badly scuffed, and with small pieces missing at the edges, as shown, especially at the top and bottom of the spine. The cover is some scuffs and damage at the edges, as shown. There is a 2-inch split in the cover where the front joins the spine, as shown. There are some white marks on the inside of the covers - possibly the book got damp in the past? - and corresponding grey patches on the first few and last few pages.
