Vintage Marcella tunic shirt size 15 Horne Bros mens formal evening dress wear


Traditional men's vintage tunic shirt, made by Horne Brothers. This is a classic Marcella bib front shirt, probably made around the mid-20th century.
White. Marcella front panels. Convertible front (it has buttons, but can also be used with shirt studs if you prefer). Double Marcella cuffs for cufflinks. You will need a separate collar (size 15.5), and collar studs to wear with this shirt (available separately).


 
Size: Collar size: 15 inches (not marked in shirt, taken from garment measurements).
Actual garment measurements:
Chest measurement: 48 inches (maximum)
Shoulder to shoulder: 18 inches
Length, neck to hem at the back: 36 inches
Length of sleeve, shoulder to end of cuff: 27 inches
Length of sleeve, armpit to cuff: 25.5 inches
Length of front bib panels (measured straight down the front from the collar): 15 inches.
 
Condition: Vintage shirt; the cuffs have been lightly starched. Over half a century old and in excellent condition for its age. The shirt has been laundered and the cuffs lightly starched since it was last worn, but that was many years ago, and there are minor storage marks, mainly around the shoulders, so it would probably need to be laundered again before use.
