White voile dress shirt from Webster Brothers, Shirtmakers of Cornhill, London. (Websters were the owners of Budds of Piccadilly.) Made in England, probably in the 1960s or thereabouts. Pleated front.
White. Concealed button fastening front. Long sleeves. Double cuffs for cufflinks.
Size: Collar size 16 inches
Garment measurements:
Chest measurement: 44 inches (maximum)
Shoulder to shoulder: 17.5 inches
Length, neck to hem at the back: 32 inches
Length of sleeve, shoulder to end of cuff: 24.5 inches
Length of sleeve, armpit to cuff: 21 inches
Condition:
Top quality vintage shirt, several decades old, and still in good condition, though not quite perfect.
The collar points are worn, as you can see; for a formal function, you would probably need to have the collar replaced.
Apart from this, the shirt is in good condition, though it has clearly been worn quite a lot.
Lightly starched, but will probably need to be laundered again before it is used.
