Vintage sardine box, backstamped "ENGLISH" - I don't know if this means it was made in England, or made by a company called ENGLISH & Co (or similar). Fish finial . Chintzy pattern with roses and pansies.
Measures 6.5 x 5.25 x 3 inches approx (maximum measurement).
Weight 500g.


 
Condition
Vintage sardine box with no chips or cracks, but the gilding on the fish and round the rims is badly rubbed, as shown. Please see photographs.
