Vintage starched tunic neckband shirt Moss Bros size 15.5 mens formal dress wear

Traditional men's starched tunic shirt by Moss Bros of Covent Garden. This is a classic white bib front shirt, made in England. Probably made around the 1930s.
White. Starched plain single cuffs for cufflinks. Plain starched fronts for shirt studs. This is a tunic (collarless) shirt; it needs to be worn with a separate (detachable) collar and studs.

Size: Collar size: 15.5 inches
Actual garment measurements:
Chest measurement: 46 inches (maximum)
Shoulder to shoulder: 18 inches
Length, neck to hem at the back: 37 inches
Length of sleeve, shoulder to end of cuff: 26 inches (this is quite a long sleeve length)
Length of sleeve, armpit to cuff: 23.5 inches
Length of starched front panels (measured straight down the front from the collar): 13 inches (this is fairly short, please check the panel length is right for you).

Condition: Good quality vintage shirt, the best part of a century old, and in good condition, but not perfect. It has kept its colour beautifully, but needs some minor repairs - the stitching round the armholes has given way in places, and needs to be re-stitched, and there are two small splits down the edge of the bib front, where the fabric has frayed. The larger one is three-quarters of an inch long (shown next to a coin in the photographs). The laundry marks of previous owners are inside the shirt. The shirt has been professionally laundered and starched since it was last used.
