Traditional men's formal tunic shirt by Leinster. This is a classic white bib front shirt, made in England. Probably made around the 1910s/1920s.

White. Plain single cuffs for cufflinks. Plain bib for shirt studs. This is a tunic (collarless) shirt; the cuffs and bib need to be starched, and the shirt needs to be worn with a separate (detachable) collar and studs.

Size: Collar size: 15.5 inches (taken from measurements; this is not marked in the shirt)

Actual garment measurements:

Chest measurement: 46 inches (maximum)

Shoulder to shoulder: 19 inches

Length, neck to hem at the back: 39 inches

Length of sleeve, shoulder to end of cuff: 25 inches

Length of sleeve, armpit to cuff: 23.5 inches

Length of starched front panels (measured straight down the front from the collar): 13 inches (this is fairly short, please check the panel length is right for you).

Condition: Good quality vintage shirt, around a century old, and in fairly good condition, but not perfect. It has kept its colour well, but has been repaired in the past - in particular, the left sleeve as shown. There are a couple of rust spots, from where the shirt has been stored in its pins. The laundry marks of previous owners are inside the shirt. The shirt has been washed, but not starched. It will need to be starched before use.
