Vintage West German pitcher vase 14 inch tall brown home decor

Vintage West German pottery pitcher vase. Brown, heavy, tall. The base is marked W. GERMANY. 14 inches tall (35 cm) approx.
It weighs about 1950g.

Condition:

Vintage jug, with no cracks or chips. One side has a lot of small marks on it. These look rather like pencil marks, but I really don't know what they are.
