Vintage wooden mask with head-dress Tribal wood carving 10" wall hanging wood
Vintage hand-carved wooden mask with head-dress. There are slits below the eyes, but I think it is designed to be decorative rather than actually worn! 10" tall (25 cm) approx. Weight 560g.
Condition: Vintage mask, several decades old, and with minor damage. One of the circles at the bottom of the mask (level with the chin) is damaged, with the outer half-inch missing, as shown, and there are some knocks and scuffs at the very top as well. The face has some cracks down the grain of the wood, as shown, but it is still a very effective piece of folk art.
