Vintage Zariffa embossed leather hand bag Egyptian Queen Nefertiti camel B
Vintage Zariffa leather handbag from Egypt. Embossed with a picture of Queen Nefertiti on one side, and a camel on the other. Light tan leather. 3 sections inside, and 2 mirror/ticket pockets, one with a mirror. Central section fastens with a zip, and the whole bag fastens with two strong tabs at the sides, with Newey fasteners (1922 patent).
Overall measurement 10" x 8" (25 x 20 cm) plus handles. Weight 480g.
Condition
The best part of a century old but still in good condition (used), though not perfect. It is a bit scuffed, and you have to be careful with the zip, because there is some damage to the cloth part at the side of the zip (not the metal teeth), as shown. A few stitches have worn away, as shown.
